U.S. star Lindsay Lohan was after their 13-day jail stay and subsequent treatment at a drug clinic back home left behind. However, Lindsay Lohan continues to keep to rules and is in contact with a caregiver. Drugs and alcohol are taboo for Lindsay anyway. Even she could not leave the city.
The blonde Lindsay Lohan was in jail 13 days. She then spent three weeks in a drug clinic. According to reports the 24-year-old would now go home, but needs to keep in contact with a caretaker several times a week to undergo psychotherapy and behavior therapy till November. The sheriff of LA has reduced the penalty.
Lohan’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley confirmed that her client had returned to her home in Los Angeles. “I hope for Lindsay Lohan, this will be a new beginning. She has changed. She is healthy, clear and optimistic,” said the lawyer.
Judge Marsha Revel Lohan sentenced Lilo for violation of her probation in early July to 90 days in jail followed by a 90-day alcohol and drug rehabilitation. Because of the overcrowding in California jail, the Los Angeles Sheriff shortened the punishment of Lilo. Now the prescribed hospital stay was also shortened.
In May 2007, Lohan was driving drunk in a hedge on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. Two months later, the blonde in Santa Monica was again arrested for drunken driving and cocaine possession. Violations of probation brought Lindsay Loahn to prison.
