While she despaired of giving birth to her baby, exhausted by her pregnancy, Mel B comes to see her wish fulfilled: she gave birth to a baby girl, born of her union with her husband Stephen Belafonte.

Mel B gave birth on Thursday September 1, her third child! A little girl pointed the tip of her nose at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, announced the proud mother and her husband Stephen Belafonte. “Melanie Brown and husband Stephen Belafonte welcomed their new baby in Los Angeles”, said in a statement quoted by People. “This is the first child of Mel and Stephen, who are both happy, mom and baby are doing well”, continues the happy message.

And the young mother to break the news on Twitter: “Finally, our baby arrived, Stephen almost fainted, Phoenix screamed, I laughed so hard that the baby was expelled! It’s just so incredible!” says Mel B as a tweet. If this little girl, whose name has not yet been revealed, is the couple’s first child, she is the third little princess of the former Spice Girls, already mother of Phoenix, born of her marriage to Jimmy Gulzar, and Angel, the daughter of Eddie Murphy. Mel B has been separated from her husband, film producer Stephen Belafonte, has been revealed.

Belafonte, who was married to former Spice Girl in 2007, is said to be talking with lawyers in Los Angeles about a divorce.

He told The Mirror: “Dude, that’s it. Mel will return to the UK before I’m not going to come with her. There have been problems recently. I do not know what is happening.”

A friend of the singer said: “I have not been happy for a long time and has been rowing. Mel has been talking about leaving. They are still talking to see if things can be resolved.
But she is making plans to return to the UK on a more permanent basis. Stephen has not been mentioned as to join her and has been consulting lawyers. Part of the problem is jealousy.
